Primer & Level 1

Primer arrangements are as easy as possible with only one note at a time. Some songs have optional teacher accompaniments. The Level 1 arrangements contain some hands-together playing. These simple yet beautiful arrangements of well-known Christmas songs span the distance from easy Level 2 to almost ready for Level 3. Level 3
This lively Level 3 collection of Christmas songs includes a bouncy Jingle Bells, Carol of the Bells simple enough to play at a quick tempo, a fresh arrangement of Go, Tell it On the Mountain, the jazzy Horses and Bells, the full 12 Days of Christmas, and a dreamy What Child is This? Also included are traditional Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, O Little Town of Bethlehem, and the Nutcracker Suite’s Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Waltz of the Flowers.
Level 4
A collection of fresh new arrangements of 10 Christmas songs. These arrangements can be used as a pedagogical tool along with students’ regular lesson repertoire. Level 4 includes a slow, dreamy Silent Night, Deck the Halls with a staccato ostinato bass line, a bouncy version of Away in the Manger (for Cowboys), and a traditional sing-a-long Joy to the World. Level 5
A collection of Christmas arrangements for the intermediate piano student, designed to be both functional and pleasing. Selections include the beautiful Mary, Did You Know?, a traditional O Holy Night, Pachelbel’s Canon with a Christmas twist, Russian Dance (from the Nutcracker Suite), a sing-a-long carol medley, an original carol by composer Gene Skinner and a lively First Five Days of Christmas, which is based on the traditional 12 Days of Christmas. This fresh new version ends with a boogie-woogie on Day 5 as the gift recipient pleads for no more birds.
Fake Book
This entry-level fake book features 24 well-known Christmas songs in lead sheet notation – melody, lyrics and chord symbols. A step-by-step tutorial shows players new to improvisation a method for getting started. All songs are in singable keys with no more than two sharps or flats in the key signature.
